I live in Mansfield, Notts. I'm
years old. I'm married to Jane, and have three children, Holly,
Adam,
and Linzie,

I work as Head of Information Technology at Ilkeston School, and I also teach Physics.
You might guess from the image that I like guitars. I'm not in a band but enjoy the occasional UKMG gigs. More about the guitars on the guitars page (where else?!)
The only sports I still get time to take part in are ice hockey and field hockey, partly due to injuries that stop me doing tug-of war any more - see the Hobbies link.
I also have a small fleet of classic cars which are all at various stages of restoration. How many cars have I owned? There's a long list!
At weekends we sometimes caravan with the Derbyshire Centre of the Caravan Club, though not as much as we used to. You can see what we get up to on the caravanning page.
I do most of the cooking at home, and so I've published some of my favourite OWN recipes. They're on the Hobbies button, with some of my favourite wines.
In my spare time I bash this computer a lot! As I spend a lot of my computer time helping people with their computer problems, here's my tech stuff page. This is largely dedicated to modems and solving connection difficulties. With some of my own input, plus links to greater authorities (there's no point in reinventing the wheel!). I don't maintain this once world-famous section any more but it's still linked in case anyone finds it useful
